Class will not be held on the following dates:

December 21st – January 1st - Winter/New Years Break
January 16th – Martin Luther King Day
February 20th – President’s Day
March 17th – Saint Patrick’s Day
April 2nd – 8th – Spring Break
May 26th – 28th – Memorial Weekend & Memorial Day

Classes end June 16th, 2012.

September 13th - Classes Begin

November 2nd - Election Day

November 11th - Veteran's Day

November 24th - 27th - Thanksgiving Break

December 2nd - 6th Southern Region Oireachtas

December 20th - January 1st - Winter Break

January 17th - Martin Luther King Day

February 21st - President's Day

March 17th - St Pat's Day

April 18th - April 23rd - Spring Break
(Lorton location only, Spring Break will be March 14th - March 19th)

May 28th - 30th - Memorial Day Weekend

June 10th - Last Day of Classes

The McGrath Academy holiday schedule generally follows the county school system calendar.

 

Cancellation Schedule and Make-up Classes

Please remember that three snow, instructor illness and/or personal days have been incorporated into the 2010/2011 calendar. As a result, if classes are canceled three times due to inclement weather, instructor illness, and/or other personal circumstances, there will NOT be a re-scheduled make-up lesson. Cancellations beyond this will be re-scheduled and offered as make-up lessons. Make-up lessons that are scheduled due to prior cancellations are usually scheduled towards the end of the dance year on a convenient time and day for the studio and the instructor. When such lessons are scheduled, parents and dancers will be notified via email.   
 

Class cancellations due to inclement weather generally follow
the local county school closings. However, please watch this space
for confirmation of class cancellations by location.
