September 15th, 2007: With over 50 dancers in attendance, McGrath Academy has a strong presence at the Baltimore Feis! One parent describes it as "a sea of blue". Congratulations to all of our dancers!
August 12th, 2007: The Irish Culture Club of Delaware hosts another fabulous feis and gave a warm welcome to several of our families who made the trip North!
August 18th, 2007: McGrath Dancer Erin wins two 2nds in the Southern Tier Feis on August 18 in Binghamton, NY, dancing for the first time in front of several of her family members!
August 5th, 2007: Frying Pan Park in Herndon, VA was the scene of the 4H Fair and our dancers were stepping tall and dazzling the crowd despite the heat!
July 28th, 2007: McGrath Dancers wow an appreciative audience in Warrenton at the Bluemont Concert Series. The dancers accompanied the Flaming Shillelaghs, including our favorite fiddler Joe deZarn!
July 21st & 22nd, 2007: Our dancers participate in 20th Annual Nation's Capital Feis in Arlington, VA as Mom and Daughter - Lynne & Kara - each take 3rds in their Championship competitions.
July 2007: Kara proudly represented the McGrath Academy at the North American Irish Dance Championships in beautiful Ottawa Canada, and had time for a bit of sight seeing with proud mom Lynne and TC Lauren.
July 4th, 2007: For the second year, McGrath steps out to celebrate Independence Day with the residents and guests of Orange Hunt Estates in West Springfield, VA.
June 23rd, 2007: Caitlin joins the Glengarry Bhoys on stage during their performance at the Celtic Fling Feis in Manheim, PA!
June 16th, 2007: J.E.B. Stuart High School in Falls Church, VA was flooded with blue and yellow as McGrath puts on a strong showing at the Old Dominion Feis.

May 27th, 2007: McGrath dancers come out in force at the 30th Annual Comhaltas Irish Dance Festival - CCE Feis - in Emmitsburg, MD.
May 20th, 2007: Tommy's Place in Manassas was the scene of our End of the Year Recital and Ceili. Dancers were showcased to music by The Bogwanderers. Our families were even able to take a turn on the dance floor.
May 19th, 2007: The Reston Chorale Presents Foundations of Freedom, a program commemorating the founding of Jamestown. Irish dance is the precursor to clogging and the Virginia Reel.
April 29th, 2007: Congratulations to all our dancers visiting the Four Provinces Feis in Broomall, PA. Keneally was thrilled with her 4th place in Prelim!
April 15th, 2007: Our dancers perform in rotation for three straight hours to raise money of our parent booster association. The second annual event was once again held at Tommy's Place in Manassas.
March 24th, 2007: Kara and Keneally impress their Boston-area relatives as they both place in their Preliminary competitions at the North Shore Feis in Massachusetts.
March 20th, 2007: McGrath dancers make a return performance to The George Brent Council of the Knights of Columbus' March luncheon in Manassas, VA.
March 17th and 18th, 2007: Our dancers wow Haymarket with two separate performances, first at the Dominion Valley Country Club, and then The Regency at Dominion Valley, a 55 and better community.
March 17th, 2007: Our Northern Virginia dancers celebrate Saint Patrick's Day by marching in the Manassas Parade, and performing afterwards for an appreciative audience outside Macy's department store in Manassas Mall.
March 17th, 2007: Our Stafford and Fredericksburg students add some excitement to the 5th Annual Fredericksburg Saint Patrick's Day Parade.
March 17th, 2007: McGrath dancers provide the entertainment at a fundraiser event being conducted by the Mother of God School in Gaithersburg, MD.
March 16th, 2007: Our dancers spread some Saint Patrick's Day cheer among the residents of Sudley Manor Home for the 3rd straight year.
March 4th, 2007: Erin celebrates her final first in Novice and Rebecca has a fantastic first all-Novice competition at the beautifully run Garden State Feis, Scotch Plains, NJ.
February 25th, 2007: Kara places 5th in Prelim, and Tanisha advances her dances to Novice at the Inishfree Feis in Massapequa, NY. Congratulations Ladies!
February 16th, 2007: Alice brings home three 1st places and one 2nd place from the Acapulco Feis. Great job Miss Alice!
February 11th, 2007: Our friends and families come out for the McGrath Family Day at the Ireland's Four Provinces Pub in Falls Church.
January 27th, 2007: Our dancers begin a new feis year in Raleigh, NC with multiple placings Prelim, Treble Reel and Traditional Sets by Kara, Keneally and Lynne. Congratulations go to Meghan for taking 1sts in all three of her events!
